In response to the dynamic coronavirus situation, and the unprecedented circumstances in which we all find ourselves working, I felt it important to communicate the measures we are taking to best handle this. The health and safety of our team members, customers and brand partners is our priority, and as such, we’re monitoring the situation and ensuring necessary changes are made with immediate effect; adhering to the strictest of W.H.O advice, and the protocols advised by local and international authorities.
We ask that if you are even slightly sick please cancel your appointment. There will be no cancellation fees. If you are showing any symptoms, i.e. fever, cough or breathing difficulties, or have returned from any of the government listed high-risk areas, please refrain from visiting the salon and self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days. If your stylist is slightly sick, they will be staying at home.
All staff wash their hands when they enter the building and between each client. A supervised 30-minute rota of disinfecting all ‘high touch’ areas takes 30 minutes so is effectively continuous. We have removed 25% of seating to give more space. We ask all clients to wash their hands as they enter the building.
All our staff are fully aware of the current requirements. They are undertaking extreme levels of health and safety procedure to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained throughout every aspect of our salon.
Any member of staff returning from the affected areas abroad – or those who have family members or housemates recently returned from these regions – have automatically been asked to self-quarantine for fourteen days. This has been salon policy for some weeks now.
