These are the handmade artisan brushes I have used throughout my career and continue to use in our award-winning London salon. The perfectly spaced bristles glide beautifully across the hair, smoothing the cuticle as you brush.
Fine to Medium Hair Texture
Natural Boar Bristle or Vegan-friendly Soft Nylon Bristle
These versions have slightly softer bristles so are gentler on fine to medium hair to avoid breakage.
Medium to Thick Hair Texture
Firm Nylon Bristle
This version is the one I use daily, but like a pair of 1960’s 501s they need breaking in. As the bristles splay out a little the brush becomes easier to use across all hair types. It takes a few months but then I get 10-20 years professional use out of one. Because of this, used ones are worth more than new ones to a busy stylist.
Healthcare for Hair:
• Correctly spaced bristles minimise stress to the hairshaft and detangle without ripping or tugging; so your hair stays naturally healthier, thicker, and if you want, longer too.
• Cheaper inferior brushes can stress and damage the hairshaft causing wear and breakage.
How to use:
Take clean sections and lift hair from the roots as you brush. Avoid damage to your hair and brush by always keeping the dryer nozzle at a one-inch distance.
Care for your brush by occasionally damp wiping with soapy water to remove product residue. Rinse and allow to air dry. Do not immerse brush in water.
