Thicker Quicker

Touchable hair yes. Lickable hair? Maybe not.

In the olden days, sugar water was a simple and popular fixative used to thicken or hold hair in place. I was given an assignment as a junior in the 1970s to set some complicated wig chignons for a show and to use sugar water. There were hardly any manufactured hair styling products back then.

This was prepared by boiling water and adding sugar to get a clear syrup. Once cool it could be applied to the hair. When it dried off, the hair was hard and immovable. I did wonder if it would attract insects. It could have given a whole new meaning to The Beehive hairstyle.

Thankfully we have immeasurably better products these days and Thicker Quicker is an exceptional styling aid. Why? Because it delivers almost instant fullness and control whilst leaving the hair feeling flexible shiny and natural.

What it is
A professional styling product for maximizing volume and control whilst keeping hair feeling healthy and natural.

What it does
Thickening Spray formula with plant extracts and cashmere proteins gives grip and texture to soft or floppy roots while keeping hair feeling supple and natural.

What you see & feel
Instantly your hair will feel thicker, and stronger with healthy movement and shine. It will have natural flexible volume and be easier to style. It doesn’t leave hair sticky, brittle or stiff like some other styling products.

Application tips
Spray a little onto to roots of wet or damp hair and comb through to spread evenly. Can be used sparingly on dry hair to revive styles.

Amazing Ingredients
Cashmere amino acids and plant extracts help protect the hair from heat styling.
Jojoba Oil – adds flexibility and shine. Wheat Protein – strengthens and moisturises.

The cause of endless arguments over hundreds of years. Cream or jam first? In Cornwall the jam goes on first. Apparently this is how the Queen prefers it. The Devonshire method is for the cream first as shown in the image above, but I guess you could always turn it over to
