Heavenly Body - the new must-have product for your haircare collection

Back in the 70s and 80s we'd take a dry-shampoo along to photographic assignments in case the model hadn't washed her hair. It was a back-up product in our kitbag. There were never any shampoo facilities at photo studios, and you couldn't style an oily hairline for a Vogue cover if the model had been remiss.

People generally would use a dry shampoo to get their hair a bit cleaner if they couldn't be bothered to wash it. It was an emergency product and not particularly popular. Then about twenty years ago hairdressers hit on the idea of using them to give body and texture as that was a side effect of their dusty nature. A whole range of sprays and powders were then developed.

The problem is, many of those dry shampoos or texture sprays on the market leave a very unpleasant white residue, or coat the hair with plastics and synthetic ingredients to give body, which can be a nightmare to wash out. So we set to work on developing a clean texturising spray which falls somewhere between a dry shampoo and a very light hold flexible hairspray.

And here we have it, four frustrating years later.  Product development is usually challenging, combining creativity with practical science and manufacturing. We can invest so much time, energy and emotion into a new product and if it isn't 100% right for us nothing gets produced.

But we love this product, and everyone that's sampled our final versions have been longing for its release. That day has come.

So if your hair needs a revamp because you're going out, this is the product that will deliver in twenty seconds. Don't want to wash your hair? This will revitalize it and get it ready to party.

What it Does

This light texturising mist effortlessly vamps up your hair in seconds, giving enviable body, volume, and airy texture to finish and lightly hold your style. Extracts deliver powerful antioxidants to maintain moisture and protect colour, without leaving the hair feeling heavy or clogged.

Amazing Ingredients

If you look down the shopping aisle at 99% of hair products you'll see some very commonly used ingredients. Want heat protection? - Silicone. Want high shine? - Silicone. De-frizzing? - Silicone.  Along with various other plasticisers. What amazingly cheap wonder ingredients you may think. Well not really.

We avoid commonly used silicones or plastics which bury themselves into the cracks and voids of the hair shaft, because they build up and ultimately dehydrate your hair leaving it weak, brittle and unresponsive.

Heavenly Body uses rice starch to give a matte texture, and has key ingredients for thermal protection and flexibility. Cashmere amino acids help to rebuild and protect the hair and panthenol vitamin B5 hydrates.

So it's full of good stuff, will give you instant body in 20 seconds and is easy to wash out. And not forgetting, the scent is wonderful. Our French artisans in Grasse, which is the centre of perfumery, have developed such a beautiful fragrance with mandarin, bergamot, and middle notes of jasmine and rose, with a cushion of amber, dry woods and musk in the low notes.

Rice Starch
Give a natural dry texture.

Sunflower Extracts
The sprouts of the sunflower have the highest concentration of phytonutrients that are known for their health promoting properties and also give effective UV protection for hair.

Hydrolysed Cashmere Amino Acids

Ultra fine molecules from cashmere protein are almost identical to human hair so are drawn deep into the hair shaft to repair, protect and hydrate.

This is a product for everyone's home haircare kit. It's available now.

For a long time, the ‘Butterfly’ haircut reigned as the most requested style. But in 2025 and the early months of 2026, ‘Bobs’ took over, and we loved seeing Lily Collins, Ji-young Yoo and Kathy Bates embrace different versions of the trend. From French bobs to blunt cuts and box bobs, each of them wore the style beautifully.

Myths & Misunderstandings - Can I over-protein my hair?
Myths & Misunderstandings - Can I over-protein my hair?

Healthy hair is essentially 97% protein and 3% water. The protein provides the structural strength, the water gives flexibility and shine. Hair cannot be overloaded with protein but it can become so dehydrated with heat styling, colouring, and siliconised hair products that you end up losing the 3% water of fresh root hair, and then what is left of the shrunken hair towards the ends is 100% protein and too porous to hold moisture.
