In the Chair - Real People Real Hair - Rosie

Sometimes a more dramatic change is called for and Rosie was clearly in the mood for something different.

Some days she thought about a very short crop but I thought that was a look we could ease towards gradually. We could start today with a short transformation into a sassy, chic, shorter layered style. I thought it looked beautiful on her and judging by the 25,000 likes on her IG feed, others seemed to agree. 

1. The Haircut

Importantly this Bob has layers at the base to remove weight and give lift, The baseline at the front is steeply graduated to meet curtain bangs. Ends are tapered to remove weight and let light through, particularly when air dried into natural waves.

2. Colour

Rosie's hair is a natural blend of rich browns, gold, and a little white. This tonal variation works beautifully with the shorter layers.

 

3. Condition

A key product for Rosie’s hair is LifeSaver Treatment. This a not an oil-based treatment and you cannot overuse LifeSaver®. It feeds, hydrates and strengthens hair without weighing it down and gives vitality to all hair types. The Cashmere Protein Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner also helps soften the hair and give shine.

4. Styling

 

Eureka Blowdry Balm is the best choice for styling Rosie's hair. Just apply, comb and style, or not if you like the natural look.

This product eliminates frizz and defines the waves whilst protecting the hair from UV and heat damage. It also heat protects and speeds up blowdrying. We used the large round brush to smooth the hair for a more groomed look today. But the cut is designed to also work naturally-dried. In fact it can be styled so many ways and will grow out really well until we take it a step further towards Rosie's crop....

Preparation
We used the LifeSaver Pre-wash Treatment and washed with Cashmere Protein Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner.


Styling
We used the Magic Oil, Ten Second Transformation, Eureka Blowdry Balm and the Large Round Brush to style.
