Love is Blind - or at least a bit blinkered

We go back a long way. A career-life journey together through thick and thin. The frustrating development stages in labs and offices from Mayfair to Manhattan, and the seemingly endless testing. Dawn expeditions to cold dark warehouses and factories, and onwards to the glamorous catwalks and media events around the world. I poured my heart into LifeSaver and it gave back a hundred-fold.

But I can’t believe I didn’t see this sooner. I’ve been dedicated, committed and loyal, and it never occurred to me to test its most expensive ingredient at an even higher concentration. That unique and rare element that costs more than all the other ingredients put together.

Was it the journey through post financial-crash austerity and then the devastation of COVID? Maybe it stirred my contrary nature to dream of an escape to opulence.

LifeSaver has been our hero product for so long now, it’s like family. Loved the world over it attracts so many reviews titled - OMG!, Gamechanger!, Wow!,

But what if?

What if I took this rare ingredient complex and put almost three times more in along with natural UV protectors, to make an already brilliant hair treatment so supremely lavish, luxurious and extravagantly nourishing. Would it make a blinding enough difference over a product that we already felt was fantastic? It would have to, to warrant the extra cost of a premium version.

I’ve tested thousands of products and lab submissions, and I’m hard to impress. So I wasn’t expecting a big enough difference, but I just needed to know. When I saw and felt the results of the first tests my jaw hit the floor. “Oh. My. God!” dropped from my lips. It was astonishing. We continued excitedly with a testing programme, pregnant with anticipation as each result came through.

I believed we’d already created the world’s best hair treatment. This enhanced version leaves me in no doubt and I really can’t wait to get this out there. But as with any new formula we have to wait for regulatory stability and testing which will take a few more months. I look forward to launching new LifeSaver Ultra™ in late Spring.

The boys are six. I thought it about time they knew the business end of a chisel and their mitres from their dovetails. I was also being slowly suffocated by colour-pollution and an outlet of Hamley’s in our lounge.
