What Makes a Great Facial

Clean, bright, age-defying complexions take regular time and effort. But there's never been as much help as now to deliver noticeable and meaningful results. I’ve worked with beauty therapists for over 40 years, testing whenever I can both here and on travels. What’s so impressive today is the amount of effective non-invasive techniques and products.

And I’m no more drawn to the modern trend for injectables and Botox as I was to plastic surgery. Though I appreciate there’s a case for all when applied skilfully in a measured way, for many the first is the start of a slippery slope.

So as a foundation of regular selfcare, I favour the more natural ways to stimulate and encourage our body to repair, regenerate and restore itself and this is where a great therapist with the best skills, products and equipment makes such a difference. And the benefits are cumulative.

What’s a Good Age to Start?
